A look at IGBRR Sophomore Watchlist Winter Update

75 Stack Ranked, 75 Watchlist Alphabetically

Always exciting updating the two youngest classes as we get the opportunity to see some new face over the winter or see them compete at the varsity level for the first time. The Winter update to IGBRR 2028 Class Prospect Watchlist expanded the stacked rank by fifteen spots to 75, while the overall Watchlist grew to 150 of Indiana’s top sophomore prospects. A bit of movement in the top ten as both Hillary Labis (Westville) joined the top ten at #8 and Zoie Walls (Monrovia) at #9. New to the top 15 is Kendall Vanderwal (Angola) who moved in from Marietta, Ohio when her father took the Trine mens basketball coaching job over the summer. Both Denaijah Jacobs (Warren Central) and Bella Ramsey (Carmel) broke into the top twenty as well. A couple other prospects that jumped into the top 50 were Rhyan Wagner (Evansville Reitz), and Anges Bell (Homestead). Fifteen prospects made it from the watchlist to the expanded stack rank led by Kambry Shoults (Northview), Zanariae White (Teere Haute South), Lorelei Lane (Seeger) and Jaylee Sloan (Central Noble) to name a few. Sereneity Conyers (Lapel) was one of the biggest movers jumping into the top 75, we were able to see her several times this season and really liked her aggressive athletic play from the guard spot and would expect she will have a breakout junior season for her Bulldogs.

The non stack ranked portion of the watchlist expanded as well, which allowed us to add twenty-three additional prospects to the alphabetical part of the watchlist. A few of those players included Lilly Butler (Ritter), Reid Helman (Shenandoah), Addy Prall (Bloomington South), and Madi White (FW Sinder). It will be a big spring and summer for these prospects as a core of our views are around the 28′ and 29′ classes this coming club season. We have another 150 prospects on our non-published radar list and would love to hear about other prospects that may not currently be on the Watchlist that we should get out and see.
