IGBRR #2 2022 Prospect
Lets cut to the chase, Mila is not just arguably the top 2022 prospect in Indiana but considered one of the top incoming Junior prospects in the country. She has the size, the versatile skill set and fluid game that separates her from most of her peers. Reynolds exploded onto the scene as a frosh averaging 18.7 PPG, 10.3 RPG and 4.4 APG. There is not much she can’t do on the offensive end of the floor. She can handle the ball in the backcourt. attack in the full court or go to work in the paint with her long strong frame and agility. She puts tremendous pressure on the defense and is a matchup nightmare with her physical tools and inside/outside versatile game. Going into her sophomore season she was recovering from hip surgery but that didn’t stop her from both scoring in double figures in all 27 games and joining elite company as only the fourth Panther, which includes Skylar Diggins, to score over 500 points in a single season at South Bend Washington. She ended with 535 points and 278 rebounds in her tremendous sophomore campaign. Her team is setup to be a serious contender in 3A over the next two years, which includes her 2023 sister Amiyah. They look to return Washington to tournament success and their first sectional title since the Panthers 2009 state championship. Mila also plays on the Nike EYBL circuit for the Michigan Crossover and is not only continuing to work on fine tuning her skill set but putting an emphasis on her conditioning going into her junior year. She is in the rare position to collect 2000 points and 1000 rebounds in her career, only five others have ever accomplished that, if she continues on the trajectory after her first two seasons. We look forward continuing to follow Mila as one of Indiana’s brightest young prospects.
