We may have written up Mary at events over the last three years as much as any Indiana prospect. What has really pulled us to Mary’s game is not just her high skill set or versatility but the way she goes about her business. She has an intense motor, a competitiveness and it doesn’t matter if her team is up 20, down 20, or if she is in the pregame layup line you are going to get the same high energy. Couple that with one of the most versatile skill sets and you have one of the more dynamic prospects in the class. She has one of the most complete games from all three levels that you will find. One series of possessions she will be operating in the paint using her strength and touch to score it in a variety of ways at the basket and the next series she will be playing from the backcourt knocking down threes (40%) or getting to her mid range jumper. She simply gets buckets and is one of those players that you want to have the ball in her hands late in the game or when you need a score. She had to patiently wait her turn behind several talented upperclassmen and showed her promise her sophomore year in the state’s toughest conference and had the breakout season this last year that was expected. She will be lacing it up on the EYBL circuit this summer when play gets back underway. Mary garnered both First team underclass All-State and All-MIC Conference which tells you where she stacks up among the state’s top 2021 prospects.
