2019-20 Brownsburg vs Hamilton Heights Recap & Photo Gallery

The Brownsburg Bulldogs showcased their familiar veteran talent along with some of their new faces to handle the Hamilton Heights Huskies with an opening night 58-40 victory. The combination of the Bulldog press and work on the boards kept the Huskies at arm’s length throughout the contest. Brownsburg opened the game with multiple triples, a 9-0 lead and never trailed. Junior All-Star candidate and Ball State commit Ally Becki, who is returning from a knee injury, led the attack with 14pts, while senior and Marian commit Allison Bosse added 12 points. Freshman guard Kailyn Terrell was impressive in her debut, scoring 10 points on two threes, while fellow 6’1 starting frosh Quinci Thomas showed off her athleticism around the bucket throughout the evening.

The Huskies made some runs, including cutting it to a six-point deficit in the third, behind the guard play of junior Jillian Osswald and senior Bayleigh Runner. Runner had 8 first half points but fouled out with 5:32 remaining in the game, while Osswald knocked down three triples to keep her team within striking distance. 6’3 sophomore center Mykayla Moran was active around the basket, leading to her 11 point contribution.
