Prospect Notes:
Morgan Sonner 2023 / 6’1 / PF / Lanesville
Morgan came into the state final game averaging 7.7 PPG, she more than doubled that with an 18 point season high outburst on 8-11 shooting, The three sport athlete has a big strong post frame, shows good mobility around the bucket on both ends and is able to score the ball in a variety of ways in the paint with nice touch. She rebounds her area and defends in the post with her length and agility. A solid and efficient post prospect.
Zoe Willems 2024 / 5’8 / CG / Bethany Christian
Zoe battelled throughout to make plays where she could and kept her team within striking distance. She finished with her average of 17 points while also collecting 6 rebounds and 3 assist. She is a versatile scorer that has some athletic length to go with her backcourt skillset that allows her to create scoring opportunities on her own and score it at all levels. LHS: Poynter 15, Hubble 9, Wills 8, Haseman 3, Stow 2
Prospect Notes:
Amber Tretter 2023 / 6’1 / PF / Forest Park (Miami, OH commit)
We just wrote Amber up a week ago in our Semi-State game notes and not much more can be said that hasn’t already but we continue to be blown away by the production she puts up on the big stage. After a record tying performance a year ago (17 rebounds), she was back to work helping her Rangers win back-back titles. She finished with a double-double that included 13 points and 12 rebounds. Her intensity, athleticism and agility around the bucket is a nightmare for the opponents.
Maddy Poynter 2024 / 5’10 / SF / Lapel
I have seen Lapel about as much as any team this year and always appreciate the motor, aggressiveness and physicality that Maddy plays with from the wing. She was once again on the attack throughout the state final and one good bounce away from one of the more legendary finishes to a title game. She has some athletic length, is a versatile scorer, is a solid on ball defender and is active and productive on both ends of the court. A solid skilled wing prospect in her class.

CC: Weber 23, Vaughan 7, Edwards 6, Adams 2, Groover 2, McCarty 2
Prospect Notes:
Brea Garber 2023 / 6’1 / SF / Fairfield (Indiana Wesleyan commit)
Brea has been a top prospect in her class for quite sometime with her combination of length and backcourt skillset. She has led her Falcons to a great deal of success over the last four years capped by the 3A State Championship Saturday. She is extremely versatile with the ability to handle the ball as a primary when needed and operate around the bucket with her size. She is also disruptive on the defensive end with her length and mobility. Brea also broke the 3A state finals record for most FT made (13) and most attempted (15).
Ava Weber 2023 / 5’11 / CG / Corydon Central
Ava had an incredible run through the tournament which concluded in the state finals game with a 23 point and 16 rebound performance. She has length, athleticism and a guard skill set. She works out of the high and mid post a lot where she can attack with her her size, skill and athleticism going to the rim and gets herself to the free throw line. A tough matchup with her combination of physical tools and ball skills. An efficient elite scorer that is an active playmaker on both ends.

FHS: Harris 15, J.Smith 8, H.Smith 6, Triplett 6, Thomas 4, O.Smith 3
Prospect Notes:
Chloe Spreen 2024 / 5’10 / CG / BNL
Chloe has been the IGBRR top prospect in the 2024 class since our first watchlist of the class. She has been extremely productive since she started as a frosh in one the states top powerhouse programs. This year she led the Stars to their fifth state title with her 20 point performance. She is extremely skilled at the guard spot with length and a good deal of athleticism. She has shown a lot of versatility over the last two years playing out of position at times for her undersized team. She can handle the ball as a primary as needed and can create her own shot while scoring it at all levels. Elite level scorer.
Talia Harris 2024 / 5’8 / PG / Fishers
Talia is an athletic skilled point guard that has a nice balance in her game between facilitating and going getting buckets. She led her Tigers with 15 points in the state final matchup and added 6 boards. She can handle against pressure, shows good instincts for the action and has continued to grow as a scorer over the last two seasons. Her skill, athleticism and feel for the game puts her among the top guard prospects in her class.
