2022 May Day 2025 & 2026 Prospects

IGBRR Report
May Day Championships
April 30 – May 1
Triton Central High School

Charlotte Conyers   2026/ CG / 5’6 / Carmel / Indy Magic
Charlotte was on the attack throughout the weekend. Quick north/south speed with the ball in transition, athletic attacks of the rim and shows the ability to create her own space to get off jumpers off the bounce. She is capable of getting buckets at all levels, explosive to the rim with a high motor on both ends.  A prospect to keep an eye on as she continues to add to her backcourt game.

Maya Layton   2026 / PG / 5’7 / Faith Christian / Indiana’s Best
If we had an 8th grade MVP Maya would have been at the top of the list. She was productive and consistent throughout the weekend to help lead her team to the 8th grade May Day Championship. She has been a standout in multiple events we have viewed her in this spring. She can break down defenders as a primary ball handler with an athletic and crafty game. She shows the ability to score it at all levels and has great instincts for the action on both ends. An elite level backcourt prospect in the 2026 class.

Brooklyn Renn   2026 / SF / 6’1 / Silver Creek / IGB
Brooklyn caught our attention at last fall’s Futures camp and her performance over the weekend turned a lot of heads.  She has athletic length, wingspan, mobility, skill and pedigree. A 6’1 point forward 8th grader that is a difficult matchup at her age level with her ability to handle the ball with fluidity from the perimeter and  post up and finish with her length and agility. She has the tools to be a very special prospect in the 2026 class.

Emma Schoen   2026 / CG / 5’5 / Silver Creek / IGB
Shooter Alert! Emma can knock them down with the best of them in her class. She can handle as a primary when needed, shows good court vision while on the move, and stays active and shot ready. As a coaches kid she displays a high IQ for the game and makes good decisions with the rock. As she continues to grow and get stronger she is a 26′ that has the skillset to be a very solid prospect in her class.

Ella Bobe   2025 / PG / 5’7 / South Knox / Indiana Elite
Ella caught our attention this winter at the Eastern Greene tourney and we noted her game as a young skilled point guard. She has some length, can break down pressure with her handle, is on the attack with a skilled game and shows a nice balance between facilitating and getting buckets. She can score it at all levels, has the instincts you want from a point and plays with a good motor on both ends.  A 25′ backcourt prospect to be noted. She was named to the All-Tourney team in her division

Kennedy Horn   2025 / PF / 6’2 / Columbus North / Indiana Pride
We first saw Kennedy this year in a high school contest and noted her potential as a frontline prospect in her class. She has a long and strong  post frame, shows good agility for her size and competes at the basket. She displays good hands and feet on post entry, has touch in the paint, and is comfortable with the ball. She rebounds her area and can protect the paint with her length and mobility. She has the tools to develop into a very nice post prospect in the 25′ class. She was named to the All-Tourney team in her division leading her team to a runner-up finish..

Mya Thompson   2025 / PG / 5’5 / Avon / Indy Magic
We have been familiar with Mya for quite some time and she has possess an advanced backcourt skill set as a youngster. She can breakdown pressure with her solid handle, has nice court vision while on the move, has a cerebral game from the point and can put the ball in the bucket when needed. She was named to the All-Tourney team in her division leading her team to the championship.

Chaney Brown   2025 / SF / 5’9 / Greenfield Central / Indy Magic
We noted Chaney a few times last summer & fall and then she went on to have a breakout season as a frosh for her 4A Cougars. She has length, a good deal of athleticism and a solid backcourt skillset. A bit of a tweener right now as she does a lot of her damage around the bucket with her athleticism and agility but has the developing tools to play from the wing which is a more natural spot at her current size. She is one the most consistently productive prospects in her class at this point. She was named to the All-Tourney team in her division leading her team to the championship.

Halle Sowder   2025 / PF / 6’1 / Brownsburg / Sirens
We have now seen Halle at two events and she has caught our attention at both. She posses a big strong post frame, shows mobility along the baseline, solid hands and feet on the block and touch on her finishes. She rebounds her area, will defend with her length and isn’t afraid to mix it up around the bucket with her strength. A frontline prospect to keep an eye on she develops over the next several years.

Aly Peters   2025 / SF / 5’10 / Batesville / The Elite Ballerzs
This was our first view of Aly and the one thing that that jumps out at you immediately is that she is an athlete. She has a long athletic frame, is fluid with the ball, and shows a good deal of agility creating her scoring opportunities. She competed on both ends with a good motor, showed instincts for the action and overall was able to standout with her athleticism around the bucket. Look forward to seeing more of her game going forward.
